With it’s first major facelift since the Mac mini was introduced with a G4 processor in January 2005, the new Mac mini looks awesome. It’s now more compact than the previous generation and it has an easy-access removable panel on the bottom that allows access to the RAM (no more using a paint scraper to lever them open!)
The Mac mini with Snow Leopard Server also comes in the new form factor, with a pair of 500GB 7200RPM, which is an increase in speed from the 5400RPM drives that the previous Mac mini Server shipped with.
As at the time of writing this post, Australian pricing hasn’t been announced, although I expect the prices to remain pretty similar to the old models.
