Comparing and contrasting the out of the box experience between an Apple MacBook or MacBook Pro and a Sony VAIO laptop. The bottom line: Mac – up and productive at the desktop in under five minutes. Sony – 15-20 minutes to get to the desktop whereupon you need to spend another two or so hours burning recovery discs.
